APPLICATION. (challenging to be multipurpose...) There are many ways of using TESH gears. Some of them are given as examples below. Agriculture Designing a machine that would use TESH in the worm mode to loosen soil, working as a tractor in all other cases. Mining Industry First of all, the all-terrain vehicles (ATV) based on the new TESH all-terrain concept can be used for geological surveys and development of new mineral deposits. Also, TESH gears can be used in drilling equipment, helping to avoid excessive maneuvering and, as a result, increase drilling rate. Besides, this invention can facilitate operation of the machines working in some closed narrow places, like underground openings, where there is not much space for maneuvers. Construction Industry TESH technologies can be applied in designing special construction equipment of the new generation featuring high maneuverability and reliability. As a particular case - designing the conveyors to transfer loads in the gap between TESH rotors, like e.g. pipe-layers. Military Industry It is very promising to use TESH gears in military industry, since they are so reliable and durable. For instance, in making new combat vehicles, which would be able to move on, saving lives of the crew, even when one of the support-running elements is broken (YASHCHER System). TESH technologies can be used in self-propelled pontoons, which would be able to start carrying materiel from shore to shore without any preliminary preparation, irrespective of the distance to be covered by water, after some water obstacle on the way of the armoured forces or the truck convoy has been found. TESH technologies can also be used in designing other military vehicles and robot mine-layers capable of going up and down the stairs. ATV Systems TESH concept can be used for designing various ATV systems. This would allow to make them fully amphibian, all-season and impart good sailing qualities to them. TESH could become an indispensable part of the vehicles designed to develop waterlogged areas, tundra in the Far North, steppes and forest steppes, and other areas of difficult access, since TESH gears, especially those with retractable segments, would not do so much harm to the susceptible northern nature as track vehicles usually do. Furthermore, the mankind has come very close to development of the planets nearest to us, to put into practice the ideas that seemed to be fantastic not long time ago. And this is TESH, that could become a reasonable alternative to the classic all-terrain-vehicle systems for various planet research robots. Employing TESH in Pipelines (rotary type only) TESH can be used for mixing and supplying components in pipelines. TESH can be employed in the systems conveying quick-hardening fluids, which need to be continuously agitated to avoid their setting in the pauses between deliveries, like in case of concrete haulers, where all working modes offered by TESH would be of use (three main modes and the intermediate ones). TESH for Entertainment (rotary type only) As far as this field is concerned, TESH can be used in playing machines, as part of the kinematic system for giving out the prizes enclosed in spherical shells. The TESH barrel axis can be positioned vertically or horizontally. Moreover, a single playing machine can be equipped with several TESH barrels. TESH can be applied in radio-controlled toys, and in mockups with immovable segments, in dismountable TESH-machine meccanos. The image of transformable worms and machines could be exploited in designing various computer games, animated cartoon films, and other video products, and in making different souvenirs (pens, trinkets, etc.).
